Any CCIM recognized graduate of Ayurveda from a recognized university can apply for the PG course. An admission notification will be announced usually during the months of April of every year. Admission is done on the basis of all India written test organized by Gujarat Ayurved University, Jamnagar. Admissions to affiliated PG centers are also governed by the university. The Institute provides stipend to the admitted scholars as per the norms of Government of lndia.
The Self Financial Course (SFC) Cell runs this course for the B.Pharma (Ayurveda) scholars, which is of 2 years duration with subject specializations in Rasa Shastra & Bhaishajya Kalpana, QC, Pharmacology, Dravyaguna and Pharmacognosy. Admission is done on the basis of eligibility test conducted by the Institute.
This course is also conducted by SFC for the graduates of BAMS or B.Sc. or B.Pharma. The aspirants are trained in Classical and Contemporary concepts of Drug identification, Evaluation of genuinity, adulteration etc.
Institute enrolls 20 stipendiary scholars in each academic year for Ph.D. degree of two years course on regular residential basis. Admission is given to M.D.(Ayu) degree holders in their specialty, subject to availability of seats under the concerned guide. On the basis of the merit of national eligibility test conducted by the Institute, stipend to the admitted scholars will be provided as per the norms of Government of lndia .
The Self Finance Course (SFC) Cell also offers Ph.D. degree of two years for the M.Pharma (Ayurveda) and M.Sc. (Ayurvedic Medicinal Plants) scholars on regular residential basis. Admission is subject to qualifying eligibility test.
